-Was born February 27, 1934 in Winsted Connecticut.

-Nader graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law Shool in 1958.

-He served in the United States Army for six months in 1959, then began working as a lawyer in Hartford, Connecticut.

-Between 1961 and 1963, he was a Professor of History and Government at the University of Hartford.

-In the early 1980s, Nader spearheaded a powerful lobby against Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of mass-scale experimentation of artificial lens implants.
